Solar panels need to pass environmental tests specified by IEC and/or UL requirements to prove their long-term performance and resistance to temperature and humidity extremes. ESPEC’s standard test chambers for solar panel testing meet these specifications and get you up and running quickly. 

Specialized Chambers For Solar Panel Tests

Chambers can be used for the following test methods:

• Thermal Cycle Test
  Thermal cycle between 85°C and -40°C, 50 or 200 times.
• Humidity Freeze Test
  Cycling ten times between hot/humid 85°C/85%rh and freezing -40°C, with extended soaks at 85/85.
• Damp Heat Test
  A long term test -1000 hours at 85°C and 85% RH.
  

An ESPEC chamber for Damp Heat Testing only is also available.

Meet IEC and UL Standard

All three of the IEC 61215 & 61646 environmental tests can be carried out in the same test chamber.

Reach-In Test Chamber with Small Footprint

These Reach-in test chambers are suitable for solar panels up to 1.2m tall. The refrigeration systems use modern, high performance scroll compressors that allow the chambers to occupy a small footprint while allowing unparalleled service access.
