Ideal for Solar Panel testing, Espec solid walk in test chambers are a solid, one-piece construction, using fiberglass insulation and an angle-iron frame. The stainless steel interior liner is reinforced and continuously welded, including leak-testing for integrity and durability.

• Temperature range up to 150°C
• Temperature-cycling faster than 10°C/min.
• Capable of long-term 85°/85% tests

The angle-iron frame provides enough structural strength to allow a full-opening door for easy loading of large arrays without restriction. A full-opening door can also allow floor-space saving over panel chambers.

Specialized Chambers For Solar Panel Testing

Our chambers are compliant for the following test methods:

• Thermal Cycle Tests
  Requires temperature cycling between 85°C and -40°C, 50 or 200 times.
• Humidity Freeze Test
  Cycling 10 times between hot/humid 85°C/85%rh and subfreezing -40°C, with extended soaks at 85/85.
• Damp Heat Test
  An extended test at 85°C/85% for 1,000 hours
  (ESPEC chamber for Damp Heat Testing only is also available.)

Test Chambers Meet IEC And UL Standard

All three of the IEC 61215 & 61646 environmental tests can be carried out in the same test chamber.
